Astute Pulley Rigs

Product title: Astute Saltwater Pulley Rig – 4/0, 5/0 & 6/0

Tied for us by Tony of The Arbroath Rig Company

Give your shore fishing a practical, straightforward setup with the Astute Saltwater Pulley Rig. This single-hook rig is a popular choice for presenting larger baits from beaches and rock marks, particularly where stones, weed or uneven ground can make retrieving a fish more difficult.

The pulley arrangement helps lift the lead above a hooked fish as tension comes onto the rig, reducing the chance of the weight dragging through snags during the retrieve. The bait clip keeps the baited hook close to the rig for a tidier casting presentation.

Available in three hook sizes, with heavier line used on the larger options, you can choose the setup to suit your bait, target species and fishing conditions. A useful addition to the rig wallet for anglers targeting cod, bass, rays and other larger shore species.
