Fladen Flatfish Spoon Rig

The Fladen Flatfish Spoon Rig is a proven fish-catching rig designed specifically for targeting flatfish species around the UK coastline. Featuring an attractive spoon blade, colourful beads and a sharp size 2/0 hook, this rig creates flash, vibration and movement close to the seabed where flounder, plaice, dab and sole feed.

The spoon flutters and stirs up the seabed as it moves through the water, helping to attract curious flatfish from a distance. Combined with the bead attractors and a natural bait such as ragworm or lugworm, the Fladen Flatfish Spoon Rig is an excellent choice for both shore and boat anglers fishing over sandy or mixed ground.
