Astute Pulley Pennel Rig

Astute Saltwater Pulley Pennel Rig – Twin Hooks for Larger Baits

Tied specially for us by Tony at The Arbroath Rig Company

The Astute Saltwater Pulley Pennel Rig combines the practical action of a pulley rig with a two-hook Pennel arrangement, helping you present larger baits neatly and securely.

Both hooks sit on the same snood to support a single bait. This makes the Pennel setup useful for longer or bulkier offerings, allowing you to position a hook towards each end of the bait while keeping the hook points exposed.

The pulley arrangement helps lift the lead above a hooked fish during the retrieve, reducing the chance of the weight dragging through rocks and weed. A red bait release clip allows the baited rig to be clipped down for a tidier casting presentation.
